Meet Miss O
When Miss O arrives at the little school on the hill, her students aren't quite sure what to expect. With her warmth, kindness and love of nature, she opens their eyes to a world they had never truly noticed before. Through simple adventures in the garden, Miss O shows her class that magic isn't found in spells or fairy tales, it's hidden in buzzing bees, blooming flowers and the everyday wonders waiting to be discovered.
Perfect for children aged 5–8, A Teacher's Magic encourages young readers to embrace curiosity. It's a story about imagination, kindness, and the special teachers who inspire children to see the world in a whole new way.
“A beautiful story with gorgeous illustrations and a message that will stay with you.”
- Emily, classroom teacher
Why I Wrote A Teacher's Magic
Growing up, I was incredibly fortunate to spend my childhood in my grandparents' beautiful garden. It was a place filled with love, adventure, and endless wonder. Some of my fondest memories are wandering through my grandpa’s fragrant rose garden, picking ripe fruit straight from the trees, and swinging as high as I could on my old squeaky swing while my grandparents watched from their porch.
Those simple moments taught me that magic doesn't have to come from dragons, monsters, or fairy tales. Sometimes, the greatest magic is already all around us, we simply need to slow down, open our eyes, and notice it.
As a teacher, I've seen how curious children are and how easily they find joy in the little things. I wanted to write a story that celebrates that curiosity and encourages young readers to discover the beauty hidden in everyday moments.
I've always dreamed of creating stories that inspire children, and A Teacher's Magic is the story I had been carrying with me for many years. Seeing it come to life has been a dream come true, and I hope it reminds every child and every grown-up that wonder can be found in the smallest things if we take the time to look.
Happy Reading!
